Overview

Career technical education (CTE) is a category of study focused on providing vocational training.
 
Branham High School provides six CTE-focused areas of study as part of its academic course programming:
 
  • Business
  • Computer Science
  • Culinary Arts
  • Engineering
  • General Work Experience
  • Tech Theater
 
Students interested in additional areas of study may wish to explore course offerings at Silicon Valley Career Technical Education Center (SVCTE), the Regional Occupational Center providing CTE training to high school juniors and seniors.
 
SVCTE is located at 760 Hillsdale Avenue. Students attend SVCTE for three hours a day and may choose from approximately 30 career programs including animation, automotive services, catering, construction, culinary arts, entrepreneurship, forensic science, and medical and veterinary care. Transportation is provided.
