Technology Issues and Updates as of 8/12/20:


Incorrect Courses Listed in Canvas:

  • We understand that many students had issues with courses listed within their Canvas account over the past few days. The issue was identified and our District IT team has been working with Canvas to resolve it.


  • The problem was apparently with the course syncing between Canvas and Aeries, and it appears that as of 3:00pm today they have resolved the issue


  • The classes students should now see are the classes in which they are enrolled. If only some classes are shown, it is only because their teacher has not published the class. We will be following up with these teachers to ensure that classes are published ASAP.


Students Not Able to See Anything in Canvas:

  • Students must enter their Canvas account through the CUHSD portal: If they try entering through another site, they will not have access to their accounts.


What To Do If Students Don’t Have the Zoom Link for a Class on Thursday or Friday:

  • We will have our Zoom Tech Room open tomorrow and Friday during the following hours. Branham Admin will help students with the link and help them access the class.
    • Thursday, 8/13: 7:30am – 9:30am
    • Friday, 8/14: 8:30am – 9:30am

Help Logging In to Chromebooks or Canvas:

  • Email is Branham
    • Branham student ID# is a six-digit number that starts w/ ‘5’
  • Password is last two digits of their Aeries Stu# spelled out w/ capitalized first letters -  4 digit birth month and day
    • Aeries Stu# is a five-digit number

Ex: Name= Blu Bruin, Student ID# = 555167, 
Aeries Stu# = 34512,  DOB =  7/3/2005

  • Email would be
  • Initial password is OneTwo-0703  <= If the students have already logged in (even last school year), changed their password, and forgot it, they need to click 'forgot password' and get a new one.

Acknowledgement of Notice of Rights and Responsibilities of Parents/Guardians

Thank you to those who have already completed the online Aeries registration process. Once you complete the registration process, you can expect an email from sender ‘Melody Jones via Informed K12’. Because it contains personal information, many have understandably called Branham to verify that this is a valid message.

This form is replacing the emergency card that parents normally turn in via hard-copy form. Due to COVID, this year we are collecting signatures electronically.

Please click on the blue ‘Review Your Form’ button to access the document and complete your electronic signature. This is the final step in the CUHSD registration process.

 REQUIRED! ‘Aeries’ Registration and Online Document Completion

You should have received a letter via US postal from our CUHSD office that contains important information and directions about the online participation documents that are required to be completed in order for your student(s) to attend Branham for the 2020 school year.

You can also visit our Branham website and click on the ‘pop-up’ that is displayed when you first visit the site:  Click on ‘Read full story’.

This online process MUST BE COMPLETED before students will be allowed to pick up any materials or attend any classes.  Families who need access to a computer or who have difficulty completing the process at home can come to Branham on their student’s assigned ‘pick-up’ day (see below) and complete the process on campus. We will have volunteers, including Spanish translators available to assist.
