Join Campbell Union High School District, the Office of the Santa Clara District Attorney's Office, and members of the Santa Clara County Opioid Prevention Project to learn more about the dangers of fentanyl. According to the CDC, 107,375 people in the United States died of drug overdoses and drug poisonings in the 12-month period ending in January 2022. A staggering 67 percent of those deaths involved synthetic opioids like fentanyl. Attendees will receive training on administering Naloxone nasal spray to treat opioid overdoses and attendees to the in-person session will receive a take-home Naloxone kit.
