Academic Program 

Branham High School offers excellent comprehensive academic and extra-curricular programs, with multiple pathways to support our students’ success. The school’s greatest strength is our dynamic, professional, student-centered staff. They were chosen for their outstanding experience, talent, and commitment to education. Teachers incorporate technology throughout the curriculum. Branham offers a full spectrum of AP (Advanced Placement) as well as elective classes in Applied, Visual, and Performing Arts. Classes are 100-minutes long and offered on alternate days; three classes are offered on ‘A’ days and three classes on ‘B’ days.  Most students take six classes, although the bell schedule allows students to take up to seven classes. Branham offers zero period every day from 7:00-7:50 a.m.

Branham’s mantra is “Learn to Achieve,” and students are encouraged to take advantage of the broad range of academic offerings. Electives are offered in Spanish, French, Art, Drama, Dance, Journalism, Yearbook, Leadership, Music, Business, Home Economics, Work Experience, ROTC, Photo, Public Speaking, PLTW and Career Technical Education classes at CCOC.

Branham’s rigorous curriculum offers Advanced Placement courses in English Language, English Literature, Biology, Chemistry, Physics 1, Physics 2, Environmental Science, Computer Science A, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Statistics, US History, US Government, World History, Spanish Language, Spanish Literature, Psychology as well as honors courses in English (9th and 10th grades) and Math (Integrated Math 3 STEM).
