Intent to apply due by noon.
The United States Senate Youth Program (USSYP) invites high schools to nominate up to two exceptional juniors or seniors with an interest in public service. Two delegates from California will be selected for the 64th Annual Washington Week, held March 7–14, 2026, in Washington, D.C. Delegates take part in an interactive leadership program and each receives a $10,000 college scholarship.
Eligibility (must meet all):
- Be a junior or senior in 2025–26.
- Serve all year (2025–26) in an elected or appointed leadership role in a student government, civic, or educational organization.
- Be nominated by your high school principal.
How to apply:
- Submit the Intent to Apply form by Monday, Sept. 22, 2025, at noon.
- Once eligibility is confirmed, submit the final application by Monday, Oct. 20, 2025.
