Please mark your calendars to attend our District-wide College Fair Tuesday, September 24th, from 6pm to 8pm, at Prospect High School (18900 Prospect Rd).
Who should attend this college fair? Everyone!
- Seniors - While many seniors have already decided which 4-year schools to apply to this fall, this is a chance to explore more options. Plus, ~50% of our seniors attend a community college first. Attending the fair will give you a chance to speak with many local community colleges in one night, learn more about the Associate's Degree for Transfer guarantee, and explore options for schools to consider after community college.
- Juniors- This is an ideal time to start compiling your college list. There are plenty of schools you are already familiar with to see at the fair and dozens more that may be new for you to consider. Ask questions about requirements and financial aid. This timing is also perfect to plan visits during future breaks so that you are completely ready to begin college applications next year.
- Sophomores - You are working your way to the halfway mark of high school. Attending the fair will give you a great introduction to several schools which you may miss during their fall visits to your school.
- Freshmen - Attending the fair is not critical, however, since this one is so easy to attend at a nearby location, it would be a great FIRST fair to attend. You can simply listen and learn.
