Middle College & College Advantage

Middle College

Middle College at West Valley College is a joint program with the Campbell Union High School District and the Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District that offers 11th- and 12th-grade students access to the Community College environment while working toward their high school diploma. Middle College students have the maturity and academic skills to be successful in college-level classes.

 

The program is housed entirely on the West Valley College campus. With a wide selection of clubs, students can be actively involved in the college's extracurricular life. Students can also participate in extracurricular activities at their home high school. They also receive a diploma from their home high school and participate in their home high school graduation ceremony.

College Advantage

College Advantage at West Valley College is a joint program with Campbell Union High School District and Los Gatos Saratoga Union High School District that offers an opportunity for 12th-grade students seeking a more challenging and rigorous academic pathway. College Advantage students have the maturity and academic skills to succeed in all college-level classes during their senior year.

 

The program offers students a rigorous, academically focused environment. The program is housed entirely on the West Valley College campus. With a wide selection of clubs and athletic teams, students are actively involved in the college's extracurricular life. Students can also participate in extracurricular activities at their home high school. They receive a diploma from their home high school and participate in their home school graduation ceremonies.
